In this photo Dr. Iler pours bronze in his chemistry classroom (2012). I have been working with Prof. Iler for a number of years to help him with his Caveman Chemistry Class, especially with the melting of glass, bronze, and native coppers, like with designing burners appropriate to the task. In 2010 I began developing the Mini-Square Giberson Burners. After making a successful mini-furnace protocol, I contacted Professor Iler and discussed these with him and in 2012 he put up his own little furnace based on this equipment.
